Favorite Things & Getting Started

Whether you're a brand new beginner or you've practiced over a decade you might find some of these items useful. I've recommended bulk quantities of some of these things because I assume you're practicing with consistent frequency per the recommended 4-6x per week. Not every person needs every thing listed. Ask questions and look into these things to figure out which ones might help you the most. I haven't done any "shopping around" so I just linked the laziest search result if you want to be lazy. Otherwise you might find better deals searching these on your own before you make the purchase.

Earthworks Health Magnesium Chloride Flakes 25lb

Pretty much everyone is deficient in magnesium. This is a great way to gain the needed magnesium, soothe muscles and improve sleep.

DripDrop ORS Juicy Classics - Patented Electrolyte Powder for Dehydration Relief Fast - for Workout, Sweating, Heat, & Travel Recovery - Cherry - 32 x 8oz Servings

This is the same type of hydration available from an IV drip at the hospital. Professional hydration relief is best for muscles I've found so far.

Lure Essentials Edge Cupping Set – Ultra Clear Blue Silicone Cupping Therapy Set for Cellulite Reduction and Myofascial Release - Massage Therapists and Home Use

Great to stimulate lymphatic fluid, flush connective tissues and stimulate blood circulation in superficial tissues. You can also drag these across the skin to help break up adhesions.

Toe Spacers

When you start to feel off balance and want to connect through your feet these can help your brain realize there are feet down there.

Gua Sha tools

When you start feeling the areas in your body that need a little manual stimulation you can use these stone tools in your home to give yourself a little relief. Great for forearms, shins, shoulders, neck, face, feet and more.

Turmeric Strength for Whole Body with Black Pepper & Tart Cherry (60 Tablets)

Helps reduce inflammation and added tart cherry helps muscles recover quickly. Good for daily use.

Helps you with pain when the going gets tough and the other stuff isn't helping enough. Some people get huge relief and others not so much. You might want to try a sample before you buy a whole tube to find out if it works for you.

Spectrum Almond Oil

An occasional oil bath can do wonders for the lymphatic system and the nervous system. I find almond oil to be inexpensive and also easy to work with. It has a very calming effect like chamomile or lavender which can help if your emotions and your nerves are feeling frazzled.

Elemis cellutox active body oil

This one is a little bit of a splurge. But if you're dealing with a sluggish lymphatic system this stuff is worth it in my opinion. You can treat yourself with I'd estimate 10 or so full body treatments with this bottle (But I'm estimating with my body which is 5'1" and 115lbs).

Health Force Vitamineral Green

Mineral rich green powder great for boosting brain function. Helps when pain is chronic, thoughts are ruminative and neurological changes need to take place. Blueberries are also highly recommended if this is the type of brain change you need.

Lions Mane

Excellent supplement for brain and nervous system.

Just Tart Cherry Juice (Any grocery)

Excellent for muscle recovery if you're building strength.

Celery Juice (Any grocery)

Great for soothing "hot" sensations and calming inflammation.
